Director of Construction

**Location:** Singapore or Malaysia **Industry:** Data Centers / Critical Infrastructure **Employment Type:** Full-Time We are representing a construction firm delivering highly complex data center and critical infrastructure projects across Asia Pacific. As part of continued growth across the region, they are seeking an experienced Director of Construction to lead construction operations across multiple concurrent projects. **Summary** The Director of Construction will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the successful delivery of mission-critical construction projects throughout the wider APAC region. The role is responsible for managing project teams, ensuring operational excellence, driving client satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, schedule, and cost control. This individual will lead a team of Construction Managers, Project Managers and Engineers, and have extensive experience delivering complex data center or critical infrastructure projects. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide leadership and strategic direction to project delivery and construction teams across multiple projects. * Develop and implement construction execution strategies that align with company objectives and client requirements. * Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards. * Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. * Act as the senior point of contact for key clients and strategic stakeholders. * Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and financial performance. * Review contract strategies, change management processes, and project risk exposure. **Key Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Services, Architecture, or a related discipline. * 15+ years of experience in construction, project delivery, or mission-critical infrastructure. * Demonstrated experience leading large-scale data center, mission-critical, or complex MEP-intensive projects. * Excellent knowledge of mission-critical mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and commissioning systems. * Proven ability to manage executive-level client and stakeholder relationships. * Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and project financial performance. * Exceptional communication, leadership, and team development skills.
