Corporate Accountant

Hussey Gay Bell is seeking a detail\-oriented and motivated **Corporate Accountant** with approximately 4 years of professional accounting experience to join our growing team. This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting management with financial analysis and decision\-making. **Responsibilities:** * Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements * Would report directly to Chief Financial Officer * Assist with month\-end and year\-end closing processes * Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis * Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls * Work with external auditors during annual audits * Analyze financial data and provide insights to management * Participate in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * CPA or CPA eligibility preferred * 3\-5 years of progressive corporate or public accounting experience * Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., Ajera, Deltek, QuickBooks, or similar) * Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines * Strong communication and teamwork skills
