We are looking for a relational, culturally grounded, and trauma\-responsive clinician who is comfortable doing depth\-oriented couples work and approaches clients with cultural humility and curiosity rather than assumptions. Responsibilities * Provide virtual psychotherapy to couples and relationship clients * Assess relationship concerns and collaboratively develop individualized treatment goals * Utilize evidence\-informed couples and relational approaches to address conflict, communication, intimacy, attachment, trust, and other relationship concerns * Integrate trauma\-responsive, culturally affirming, and systemic perspectives into clinical work * Recognize how culture, identity, migration, family\-of\-origin experiences, intergenerational patterns, and broader systems may influence relational dynamics * Maintain timely, accurate, ethical, and clinically appropriate documentation * Maintain client confidentiality and comply with applicable professional, ethical, and telehealth requirements * Maintain professional competence through continuing education and ongoing development in couples and relationship therapy Qualifications * Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in Maryland OR Washington, DC, plus at least one additional U.S. state/jurisdiction * LMFT, LCSW/LCSW\-C/LICSW, LCPC/LPC/LMHC, or state equivalent * Minimum 2 years of clinical experience * Demonstrated experience providing couples and relationship therapy * Formal training in at least one established couples modality, such as EFT/EFCT, Gottman Method, Imago Relationship Therapy, RLT, or another established couples\-focused approach * Grounding in liberation\-oriented, decolonial, culturally affirming, and/or anti\-oppressive psychotherapy * LGBTQ\+ affirming and comfortable working across diverse identities, cultures, families, and relationship structures * Strong clinical documentation and communication skills * Ability to practice independently in a virtual environment * Own professional liability/malpractice insurance * Capacity to accept evening and/or weekend clients Final candidates will complete applicable background screening, license verification, and credentialing requirements. Compensation \& Practice Support Clinicians receive 60% of collected session fees. Our standard 75 minute couples session begins at $315, resulting in clinician compensation beginning at $189 per completed 90\-minute session (equivalent to $151/hour of session time). Session fees may be higher based on clinician experience, specialization, licensure jurisdiction, and applicable market rates. Clinicians continue to receive 60% of the applicable collected session fee. We anticipate supporting an initial referral volume of approximately 4 couples per week, based on referral volume, client\-clinician fit, clinician availability, and client demand, with the opportunity to grow. Life Migration Therapy provides administrative support, marketing and referral support, complimentary monthly clinical consultation, and a $500 annual professional\-development stipend after 12 months with the practice. 1099 Independent Contractor This is a part\-time 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not W\-2 employment. Clinicians establish their own availability and maintain independent clinical judgment. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, professional licenses, continuing\-education requirements, and professional liability insurance and do not receive W\-2 employee benefits through Life Migration Therapy.
