Full\-Time Medical Assistant — Gynecology, Cosmetic Surgery \& Medical Spa **Location:** Sugar Land, TX **Starting pay:** $18 per hour **Schedule:** Full\-time; flexibility for some early mornings and occasional Saturday mornings required **Benefits:** Eligible for bonuses and paid time off (PTO) after 90 days Sugar Land Medical Spa is a growing practice offering aesthetic treatments, wellness services, gynecology care and cosmetic surgery. We are seeking an energetic, dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team and help our patients look and feel their best. The ideal candidate enjoys and is focused on efficient patient care, takes initiative and brings a positive, team\-player attitude. We prefer at least two years of medical assistant experience but are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities * Room patients, obtain vital signs and update medical histories. * Maintain accurate charting in our electronic medical record (EMR). * Prepare examination, treatment and surgical rooms, instruments and supplies. * Assist the physician with gynecological examinations, office procedures and cosmetic surgeries within training and authorized duties. * Support sterile setup, instrument handling and procedure\-room turnover. * Perform blood draws, injections, and assist with IV\-related care when appropriately trained, authorized and supervised. * Support preoperative preparation, postoperative instructions and follow\-up as directed by the clinical team. * Maintain clean, organized clinical areas and follow infection\-control standards. * Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements. * Work collaboratively to keep patient care and daily operations running smoothly. Required Qualifications * Basic medical assistant skills, including knowledge of EMR systems, charting and HIPAA compliance. * Strong communication and organizational skills. * Dependability, attention to detail and willingness to learn. * A positive, team\-player attitude. * Comfort assisting with gynecological examinations, intimate surgical procedures and cosmetic surgeries. * **Full\-time availability, including flexibility for some early mornings, late afternoons/evenings and occasional Saturdays.** Preferred Qualifications * At least two years of medical assistant experience. * Fluent in Spanish. * Basic surgical skills, including sterile technique, instrument preparation and procedure assistance. * Proficiency in blood draws and/or experience with IV placement. * Gynecology, women’s health or cosmetic surgery experience. * Knowledge of or interest in the aesthetic industry.
