Customer Service Representative

**Job Summary** **Chilton Oil (formerly Poe's Rural & City Gas) is currently looking for a customer service representative for their Rolla office.** **Responsibilities:** * Fielding and routing propane delivery and service calls * In-person and phone-based customer service and support * Assisting Office Manager in accounting practices as necessary * Ordering parts and supplies * Forming lasting relationships and trust with customers * Tracking, renewing, and purchasing licenses, insurance, and other items critical to business operations * Other duties as assigned **Required Qualifications:** * Experience working in an office administration or customer service role * Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel * Strong customer service experience & good attitude * Basic math abilities * Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees * Willingness and ability to learn industry-specific software * Willingness to learn propane industry-specific knowledge to address customer concerns **Preferred Qualifications:** * Past experience in administration, human resources, sales, IT, or accounting * Routing/Department of Transportation or trucking clerical experience * Willingness to work at other office locations when necessary to cover absences * Experience working with Android tablets and similar technology * Past experience with multi location VoIP phone systems * Advanced proficiency in Excel For an application or to submit a resume, contact Jennifer: jdeese@chiltonoil.com Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Retirement plan * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
