**Mule Extracts Job Description** **Role: Field Marketing Specialist** **Mule Extracts is searching for an energetic and passionate Field Marketing Specialist (FMS) to help drive our mission and create a positive, memorable experience for anyone that comes in contact with the Mule Extracts brand. The Field Marketing Specialist will engage with consumers, influential community members, groups, businesses, budtenders, dispensary managers, and more in Oregon, with a primary concentration in Portland and the surrounding area.** ***Overall Responsibilities*** * Drive brand awareness, positive impressions, and sell-through of the Mule Extracts product through various activations including but not limited to: in-store demos, dispensary events, community events, lifestyle pop-ups, curated brand events, micro-influencer drops, and festivals. * Fill in to help sales distribution about 20% of your time. * Communicate with account manager about your time spent within their territory * Help upsell accounts on additional product categories. * Lead & Conduct 4-6 In-Store Vendor Day events, including scheduling, set up, and breakdown, on a weekly basis. * Schedule & Manage regular Mule Extracts Budtender Education sessions with retailers throughout your territory. * Conduct retail & merchandising audits daily throughout your territory, ensuring that the Mule Extracts Brand execution is presented according to our Brand Guidelines and Merchandising standard. * Assist in the execution of local influencer and Budtender gifting and incentive programs. * Ensure brand and product talking points are communicated effectively with consumers and staff. * Gather consumer & market insights and provide in an organized and timely manner. * Obtain leads for community events and dispensary partnerships when appropriate and communicate with the marketing manager. * Accurately and timely complete and submit end-of-shift reports online; expense reports (if applicable), photo submissions, etc. * Attends initial training as well as possible ongoing monthly product training, team meetings, client training, etc. * Properly manage organization and cleanliness of storage space, product, and marketing assets. * Assist with Marketing leads when necessary. * Perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager. **Requirements** * Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application * Must live in local regions territory * Must have a valid driver's license and reliable source of transportation to travel within assigned territory for product seedings, demos, events, and other duties as assigned. * Some college education is preferred with a minimum of 2 years equivalent applicable work experience. * Experience and/or interest in field marketing, demonstrations, sales, and the cannabis or Consumer Packaged Goods industry is highly desirable. * Weekday, evening, and weekend availability required * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to fill out end-of-shift recap forms in a timely manner with proper details * Ability to interact with management, clients, and consumers in any setting * Candidates must have excellent communication and people skills, and be natural problem solvers * Be professional and must have clean hygiene in appearance * Able to work independently with little or no supervision * Able to stand and talk for an entire shift * Friendly and outgoing personality, enthusiastic, and energetic * The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 40 pounds Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Experience: * Marketing: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ontario, OR 97914
