Position Qualifications: LSW required Acute inpatient experience preferred In-depth knowledge of psychotherapy methods and available community resources Understanding of resiliency and recovery in mental illness and substance abuse, and treatment approaches and techniques. Key Responsibilities / Job Accountabilities: * Ensures completion of individual, family, and/or group assessments. * Familiar with outpatient setting. * Provide short term crisis intervention, as needed. * Assist patients and families with community resources for post-hospital needs. * Monitor patient progress toward discharge, ensuring completion of requirements within expected length of stay. * Assist patients and families with securing assistance services, as needed, e.g. Medicaid applications. * Facilitates or assist with psychotherapy groups. * Provide individual counseling. * Maintain an efficient, organized work environment. * Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.
