General Manager - Restaurant

**Job Summary** Lead daily restaurant operations as a General Manager, bringing together strong hospitality, team leadership, and food service management. You’ll guide front- and back-of-house teams, maintain a welcoming guest experience, and keep service, food quality, and business operations running smoothly. Your impact: By coaching staff and maintaining safe, consistent service, you help guests enjoy a positive dining experience and give team members the support to do their jobs well. **Duties** * Manage shifts, service standards, food preparation, cooking, food production, and kitchen operations. * Hire, interview, supervise, and train team members; support ongoing team development and clear managerial communication. * Oversee inventory control, cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) systems, budgeting, and profit-and-loss analysis. * Maintain food safety and food handling practices; respond to guest concerns with attentive customer service. * Coordinate restaurant operations. **Requirements** * Experience in restaurant management, food service management, hospitality management, or a related leadership role; assistant manager experience is relevant. * Background in restaurant, kitchen, food service, or food industry operations; experience in quick service, fast food, casual dining, or fine dining is welcome. * Demonstrated skills in management, shift supervision, team leadership, staff training, and managing hospitality teams. * Familiarity with POS systems experience is a plus. Basic math, cash handling, inventory control, and food safety knowledge are important. * Cooking, serving, culinary, kitchen management, food management, or food safety management experience is valuable.
