Job Location Michigan (Remote) Contract Duration 47 week(s) WEB Based Training Initiatives Project Management Detail\-Oriented Articulate Description: **This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan. This role is for Michigan ONLY residents as there is some limited onsite meetings in Flint or Lansing Michigan.** The Instructional Designer is responsible for applying adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and company standards to create and revise online and classroom training solutions. This includes designing engaging learning experiences that meet business and learner needs. This role will be assigned to a specific subsidiary of Consumers Energy to support a variety of projects. The designer will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to deliver effective learning solutions. **Key responsibilities will include:** * Execute course development from in\-take through launch in the LMS * Revise, design, and develop eLearn and classroom instructional content * Launch and test learning content within the LMS * Generate quarterly reports on itemized training costs for billing purposes * Create program boards in the LMS, as needed Strong project management skills are essential for success in this role, which serves as the primary point of contact between Consumers Energy and the subsidiary to ensure streamlined communication and coordination of training initiatives. ***Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)*** *The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $ 28\-32/hr* *Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met)* *All qualified applicants will not be discriminated against and will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin.* QUALIFICATION/ LICENSURE : * **Work Authorization :** US Citizen * **Travel Required :** No travel required * **Shift timings:** Not specified Job Location Michigan (Remote) Contract Duration 47 week(s)
