Job description from the source

On a construction project, one delay can quickly affect everything behind it. Materials arrive late, a subcontractor gets pushed back, inspections move, and suddenly several schedules need to be adjusted. Brager Construction, Inc. is looking for a Scheduling Manager who can keep those moving pieces organized. You'll work closely with project teams to build realistic schedules, track progress, spot potential delays, and make adjustments as projects move forward. **A typical week may include:** * Building and updating schedules for active and upcoming construction projects * Coordinating timelines with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers * Tracking project milestones and upcoming deadlines * Reviewing progress and identifying scheduling conflicts before they become larger problems * Following up on subcontractor availability and material lead times * Adjusting schedules when weather, inspections, deliveries, or jobsite conditions affect the original plan * Keeping project teams informed when dates or priorities change * Helping coordinate multiple projects competing for labor, equipment, or other resources * Maintaining accurate scheduling information and project updates * Reviewing upcoming work so teams have time to prepare * Helping improve the way schedules are created, communicated, and tracked **We're interested in people who have worked in:** Construction scheduling, project coordination, project management, field operations, commercial construction, general contracting, or another environment where keeping projects on schedule is a major part of the job. We're ideally looking for at least 3 years of relevant experience. You should be comfortable working with schedules, spreadsheets, project information, and construction management software. Experience reading construction plans and understanding the general sequence of construction work is also valuable. A degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field is welcome, but practical construction experience can be just as important. **The person who will do well here** You don't have to predict every problem before it happens. You do need to notice when something is starting to slip, ask the right questions, and help the team figure out what needs to happen next. If you're the person who keeps track of the dates everyone else forgets and you're good at bringing order to a busy project schedule, this may be a good fit. Pay: $70,000\.00 \- $82,000\.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: Remote
