If you love working with toddlers and are dedicated to creating a safe, stimulating, and loving classroom environment, we want to hear from you! **Responsibilities:** * Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities for 2-year-old children * Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports toddler development * Monitor and document children's developmental milestones and progress * Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth * Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom * Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides * Ensure compliance with NC childcare licensing regulations and health and safety standards **Requirements:** * Previous experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood education setting preferred * NC Early Childhood credentials or a degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred * Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for 2-year-olds * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and staff * Ability to lead a classroom and guide assistant teachers effectively * Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification * Patient, energetic, and genuinely passionate about early childhood development **About Us:** FUNDAMENTALS Child Development Center is a trusted early childhood program serving the Goldsboro, NC community with a commitment to providing high-quality care and education for young children.
