Staff Accountant

**Job Summary** We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP, and will be responsible for managing various accounting functions. This role requires proficiency in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and the use of accounting software. The Staff Accountant will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. **Duties** * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. * Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger accounting. * Perform journal entries, account analysis, and assist with month-end close processes. * Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights into financial performance. * Collaborate on regulatory reporting and compliance with securities law and governmental accounting standards. * Assist in tax preparation and ensure adherence to tax regulations. * Microsoft Office system (OneDrive, Excel, Word, Power Point) * Conduct financial analysis including cash flow analysis and auditing functions to ensure accuracy in reporting. * Mentor junior accountants and provide guidance on technical accounting issues.
