Chemical Sales Representative

We are looking for an energetic, self\-motivated, goal\-oriented individual with an excellent work ethic to fill a Chemical Distribution Sales Representative in the Western Michigan area. The Successful Candidate will: \* Experience in Heat Transfer Fluid/Glycol based system. \* Generate new business and Service existing customers by offering additional products/services. \* Keep Management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. \* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies. \* Requires travel within a territory, some overnight stays. \* Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. \* Resource customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. \* Recommend changes in products, service, and policy and evaluate results and competitive developments. \* Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales. Must have a motivation for sales! Four Year college degree required; Technical or Chemical Degree/Experience a Plus 1 \- 3 years of sales experience.
