This role requires accurate financial and policy-related records, ensure compliance with state and industry regulations, and reconcile complex carrier and direct-bill statements. Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year **Benefits** ------------ Annual Base Salary Based on Experience Paid Time Off (PTO) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Hands on Training Mon-Fri Schedule Career Growth Opportunities Retirement Plan Bonus Opportunities 401(k) matching **Requirements** ---------------- **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in accounting * 2+ years of accounting experience required * Experience with ADP payroll systems a plus * High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Google Docs, or similar software * Strong communication skills — ability to explain financial data clearly to non-accountants **Experience:** * Accounting: 2 year (Required) * Profit & loss: 2 year (Required) * Background in accounting for an insurance agency with multiple carriers, working with agency bill and direct bill carrier invoices (Bonus) **Responsibilities** -------------------- **Requirements** * Lead month-end accounting processes, ensuring all entries and reconciliations are accurate and timely * Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets and other financial reports of multiple entities for leadership. * Monitor and reconcile multiple bank accounts (operating, trust, and others) * Track available funds vs. restricted funds for incoming and outgoing payments * Handle client premium payments, vendor invoices, return premiums, and premium financing. * Assist with audits, compliance, and financial reporting requirements * Identify opportunities to improve accounting and payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy * Reconcile monthly account statements from insurance carriers (agency-billed and direct-billed) to prevent discrepancies **About Us** ------------ EIG Insurance Center is a trusted insurance agency committed to providing exceptional service and personalized coverage solutions for individuals and businesses.
