Staff Pharmacist

We are looking for a highly motivated pharmacist to join our team. Our Pharmacy prides it self on being a pharmacy where we know the patients best. We are looking for a staff pharmacist to join our team. The pharmacist would also cover any time off for the Pharmacist in Charge. **Responsibilities (including but not limited to):** * Review prescriptions for appropriateness and compatibility with current therapy, drug allergies, adverse drug effects, duplication of therapy, compliance to ensure patients’ medication therapy is safe, effective, timely, and free from drug related problems * Develop and maintain good work relationships with physicians and other health care professionals in order to facilitate patient care * Provide direct leadership and management of all pharmacy staff. * Maximize financial performance and growth in order to stay competitive in today's market. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D (preferred) from an accredited school of pharmacy * Current and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the State of Louisiana * 2\+ years retail experience; supervisory experience preferred * Pioneer Rx experience **Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:** * Interpersonal relations and customer service skills * Ability to make judgments in demanding situations * Ability to react to frequent changes in duties and volume of work * Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities * Ability to manage fluctuating workflow and lead team Going beyond quality requires the perfect balance of talent, integrity, drive and intellectual curiosity.
