Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Florida Pediatric Care Centers is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate **Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)** to join our pediatric therapy team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services to pediatric patients in a professional and supportive clinical environment. Our center focuses on improving mobility, strength, coordination, and overall functional independence for children through individualized therapy programs. **Responsibilities:** * Provide physical therapy treatments to pediatric patients as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. * Implement treatment plans designed to improve mobility, balance, strength, and coordination. * Monitor patient progress and report outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions. * Communicate effectively with therapists, caregivers, and staff. * Ensure a safe and positive therapy environment for all patients. **Schedule & Caseload:** * Part time position * Approximately **25 pediatric patients** * Each child requires **3 sessions per week (60 minutes)**, with some requiring **4 sessions per week.** **Compensation:** * **$50.00 to 60.00 per therapy session** **Qualifications:** * Active **Florida PTA License** * Experience working with **pediatric patients preferred** * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to maintain proper documentation * CPR certification preferred * Bilingual **Work Environment:** * Pediatric therapy center * Supportive multidisciplinary team * Professional and organized clinical setting **How to Apply:** If you are interested in joining our team, please send your resume to admin@floridapediatric.org or contact us at **305-306-3518**.
