Our work centers on workforce readiness, leadership development, career advancement, and helping individuals build the skills needed to succeed in today's workplace. We are developing a professional learning academy integrated into our existing WordPress website. We are seeking a skilled WordPress LMS developer with e-learning instructional design capabilities to help us build a functional, engaging, and scalable online learning experience. **Project Overview** The selected contractor will configure and develop an online learning academy within the existing Essentrix Global WordPress website using a suitable learning management system (LMS), preferably Tutor LMS Enterprise. The academy will initially contain **10 professional development courses, each with 11 modules, for a total of 110 modules**. Essentrix Global has existing course guides and curriculum materials that will serve as the foundation for course development. The contractor will transform these materials into structured, engaging online learning experiences. This project involves more than installing an LMS plugin or uploading PDFs. The finished platform should be easy for learners to navigate and allow Essentrix Global to manage content and add future courses without requiring extensive developer involvement for routine updates. Initial Course Catalog The academy will initially include the following 10 courses: * Professional Foundations * Communication & Workplace Etiquette * Career Branding * Resume & LinkedIn * Job Search & Networking * Interview Excellence * Workplace Success * Leadership & Emotional Intelligence * Digital Workplace Skills * Career Launch & Professional Development Each course contains 11 modules, including a final integration or capstone module where specified in the supplied curriculum guides. **Total initial scope: 10 courses and 110 modules.** Scope of Work and Deliverables1. WordPress and LMS Development * Configure the LMS within the existing WordPress website. * Establish the academy structure, course catalog, learner dashboard, and course navigation. * Configure student, instructor, and administrator roles and permissions. * Set up course enrollment, progress tracking, completion requirements, and learner records. * Configure certificates of completion and certificate verification where supported by the selected platform. * Ensure the academy is responsive and works on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. * Ensure Essentrix Global retains full administrative control and can manage routine course updates independently. * Document any custom code, plugins, or integrations used. 2. Course Development and Instructional Design * Review the existing course guides and curriculum materials supplied by Essentrix Global. * Organize all 10 courses and 110 modules into a consistent learning structure. * Convert source materials into structured online lessons with appropriate learning objectives, explanations, examples, and practical applications. * Develop instructional slides, lesson summaries, worksheets, or learner activities where appropriate to the agreed scope. * Create knowledge checks, quizzes, and assessments aligned with the learning objectives. * Incorporate workplace scenarios, reflection exercises, and applied learning activities where appropriate. * Configure the final module of each course to support integration or application of the material, consistent with the supplied curriculum. * Identify content gaps or unclear source materials for approval before expanding or rewriting the curriculum. The contractor must clearly specify which course-development activities are included in the fixed fee. The proposal must distinguish between uploading existing materials, formatting lessons, developing new instructional content, and creating assessments or interactive activities. 3. Interactive Learning Experience * Configure quizzes, assessments, learner feedback, and appropriate completion rules. * Establish course progression and lesson completion requirements. * Integrate supplied videos, documents, presentations, and other learning resources. * Configure automated learner notifications and course-related emails where supported. * Ensure the learning experience is intuitive, accessible, and easy to navigate. 4. Platform Features and Integrations * Configure certificate generation and verification where supported by the selected platform. * Configure payment and enrollment functionality if included in the approved initial scope. * Configure video delivery and reasonable technical protections against unauthorized downloading or direct access where supported. * Integrate appropriate analytics and reporting tools. * Identify all required paid plugins, licenses, third-party services, and recurring costs before implementation. No paid software, subscriptions, or additional services may be purchased without prior written approval from Essentrix Global. 5. Testing, Documentation, and Handover * Test course navigation, quizzes, assessments, certificates, enrollment, progress tracking, and configured integrations. * Test the academy on major desktop and mobile browsers. * Correct defects identified during agreed acceptance testing. * Provide administrator documentation and training so Essentrix Global can manage courses, enroll learners, update content, and review progress independently. * Transfer all agreed project files, configurations, credentials, and documentation to Essentrix Global. * Provide a written list of recurring costs, license renewals, dependencies, and ongoing maintenance requirements. * Confirm that all administrator accounts and essential service accounts are controlled by Essentrix Global. Learning Management Systems * Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Tutor LMS, LearnDash, LifterLMS, or a comparable LMS within WordPress. * Experience creating course structures, lessons, quizzes, assessments, certificates, learner dashboards, and progress tracking. * Ability to explain which features can be configured through existing LMS functionality and which require custom development. * Experience integrating payment gateways, email automation, video services, and other relevant tools where required. **Tutor LMS Enterprise experience is preferred**, but candidates with relevant experience in another WordPress LMS may apply if they can demonstrate transferable skills. The contractor must disclose all assumptions, exclusions, revision limits, dependencies, and potential additional costs before work begins. No additional work or charges may be incurred without prior written approval from Essentrix Global. Applicants should explain how their proposed fee reflects the actual scope, including what will be custom-developed versus configured through existing LMS functionality. What to Include in Your Application Please provide: * A brief introduction and summary of relevant experience. * Links to at least two WordPress websites or WordPress-based LMS projects you personally developed or configured. * At least one example demonstrating an LMS or online course platform, if available. * A description of your specific responsibilities and the technologies used in each example. * Your recommended LMS and technical approach for this project. * Your fixed-price proposal, itemized by deliverable and milestone. * Your estimated timeline for the LMS foundation and all 10 courses and 110 modules. * A clear explanation of whether your price includes lesson development, slides, quizzes, activities, assessments, and other instructional materials. * A list of required software licenses, plugins, hosting, video services, and recurring fees. * Confirmation that Essentrix Global will own and control the agreed deliverables, accounts, data, and custom code. Applications that provide only a general estimate without identifying deliverables, assumptions, and exclusions will not be prioritized.
