Management Accountant

* 12 months Fixed\-term contract with immediate start * Work for a well\-established market leader **About Our Client** An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well\-established and highly regarded industrial organisation on a 12\-month fixed\-term contract. With a strong national presence and a collaborative finance team, this role offers the opportunity to partner closely with operational stakeholders while gaining exposure to a large, structured business environment. **Job Description** * Prepare month\-end journals, reconciliations and reporting * Assist with budgeting, forecasting and monthly management reporting * Partner with operational managers to analyse business performance * Prepare financial reports and provide commercial insights * Review and maintain general ledger integrity * Respond to day\-to\-day finance queries from operational stakeholders * Assist with audit requirements and compliance activities * Drive continuous improvement initiatives and challenge existing processes where appropriate **The Successful Applicant** A successful Management Accountant should have: * Previous experience in a similar role within industrial environment * Strong month\-end, reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience * Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills * Advanced Excel capabilities and confidence working with large data sets * Experience operating within a medium\-to\-large organisation * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills * Accounting qualifications (CA/CPA or equivalent advantageous) * Exposure to ERP systems, ideally within a complex operating environment **What's on Offer** * 12 months Fixed\-term contract with opportunities to gain valuable experience. * Be part of a reputable organisation in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
