Senior Accountant

LHH is assisting our client in Tulsa on their search for a Senior Accountant to join their permanent team. This position is responsible for supporting the company's accounting and financial reporting functions by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. This role works closely with management to ensure compliance with accounting standards and support business operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules * Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes * Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements * Analyze financial data and investigate account variances * Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records * Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities * Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors * Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements * Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls * Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * CPA or CPA candidate preferred * 3+ years of progressive accounting experience * Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting * Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills * Experience with cost accounting in a manufacturing environment preferred
