Administer treatment, medications and injections as ordered. Conducts pre\-visit planning by reviewing and updating patient charts prior to appointment with recent test results and correspondence. Call patient regarding test results as instructed by provider. **Job Requirements** * Minimum Education Requirement : High school diploma or GED required or 1\-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in lieu of High School Diploma. Completion of Medical Assistant Program required. * Minimum Experience Requirement : Three to five years in a healthcare setting is preferred. Computer skills required. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Excellent customer service skills required. * Minimum License Requirement : BLS required within 90 days of hire/transfer. Completion of annual Medical Assistant Competency training.
