Intensive Care Registered Nurse Full Time Nights

**Summary** 3x12 ICU Night Shift **Job Description:** *Full Time 36 weekly hours, nights - three 12-hour shifts 7P-7A, every 3rd weekend, & support shifts required* **Sign On Bonus Eligible for Experienced Critical Care Nurses!** **About the Unit:** The Intensive Care unit (ICU) is a 20 bed critical care unit specializing in neurologic care. Staff working in ICU will encounter a variety of nursing needs from stroke, post-op neurosurgery, ventricular drains, abdominal pressure monitoring, CRRT to hypothermia. **Job Duties:** The ICU nurse assesses and identifies patient needs and implements appropriate interventions for the patient. The ICU Nurse establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care; assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems; and performs technical aspects of care competently. ICU nurses must have strong critical thinking skills. The critical care nurse acts as a family and patient resource to guide them through all stages of the patient’s critical care journey. **Minimum Education, Training, and Experience** 1. Active Kentucky License 2. BCLS Required within 90 days of employment. 3.
