Electrical/EWIS Engineer

Aspen Consulting Group (ACG) is seeking a full\-time **Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) Engineer** to work remotely on both government and commercial R\&D efforts. The successful candidate will have experience in electrical harness design with emphasis on routing and installation in rotary wing aircraft. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or related sciences with 7\+ years of experience OR 10\+ years of experience working in a related field. * Experience in 3D/2D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, etc. * Knowledge of SAE AS50881\. * Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD/DoW Secret Clearance **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in wire harness design and installation on DoD/DoW or commercial aircraft. * Familiar with Blackhawk helicopter platforms and/or systems * Experience with 3D scanning and working with 3D models in SolidWorks derived from 3D scanning. **Key Responsibilities:** * Collect, process and analyze wire harness data and measurements. This includes wire type, wire length, connector/backshell type, EMI requirements, power/thermal rise considerations, RF considerations, installation methods, routing procedures, harness clamp locations, and harness clamp stack design. * Create and maintain 3D models of aircraft sections with harness routings * Derive 2D drawing sheets and schematics from models with detailed views and installation notes. **About our Company** Since 2001, Aspen Consulting Group has been recognized for our expert knowledge in hardware design and fabrication, software development, information operations, systems engineering, development, integration, and testing.
