Certified Medical Assistant

UThrive Health is seeking a reliable, detail\-oriented **Medical Assistant (MA)** to join our team in Lakeland. This is an **in\-person role** that blends clinical and front\-office responsibilities, requiring strong focus, initiative, and professionalism. The ideal candidate is licensed as a Medical Assistant and thrives in a patient\-centered environment. New grads are welcome. Responsibilities: * Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming experience * Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and accuracy * Schedule and confirm patient appointments * Perform and monitor Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) sessions (training and certification provided) * Support providers with clinical tasks and general patient care * Maintain accurate and timely documentation * Handle daily front desk operations, including patient intake and forms * Assist with other medical and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications: * Medical Assistant license or certification * Previous medical office or front desk experience a plus * Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay organized * Strong communication skills—comfortable interacting with patients and staff * Dependable, proactive, and not passive in problem\-solving * Ability to multitask and maintain focus in a busy environment Position Details: * In\-person, part\-time opportunity 20\-24 hours per week ( starting point) * Compensation based on experience and credentials * Collaborative team environment with direct patient impact At UThrive Health, our mission is to help patients thrive.
