Market Manager

Waldscraft Bakery is looking for a Market Manager to run the logistics and execution of our farmers market and cafe cart sales operations. We currently sell at 7\-8 farmers markets each week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and two on Saturday and Sunday), with a daily café cart launching in the next two months and other growth opportunities in the works. This role is central to making sure the right product, materials, and equipment reach the market, that set up runs smoothly, and that our product displays look amazing. **What You'll Do** * Pack \& prep for markets: Pack product for markets. Organize and pack market materials and equipment for each market. * Deliver: Transport product and materials to market site. * Set up: booth, displays, and signage at markets with market sales team or independently * Work Tuesday \& Friday markets: Personally staff the full market window (setup through breakdown) — selling, representing the Waldscraft brand, and handling cash/point\-of\-sale. (This is a tip earning opportunity!) * Support Saturday \& Sunday markets: Handle setup and restocking during the early, busiest hours alongside the existing weekend team (3–4 staff already cover full\-day sales at weekend markets). * Return \& Organize: Return to the bakery after each market day and organize the production/materials area for the next day's market * Manage materials: Own the inventory of market equipment, tents, tables, signage, packaging, and supplies — track what's on hand and what needs replacing * Build systems: Design and improve a reliable system for organizing and prepping product for delivery — reducing errors, waste, and last\-minute scrambling * Coordinate scheduling: Work with the Owner to plan which staff are covering which markets each week **What We're Looking For** * Experience in food/service retail, or a similar hands\-on operational role * Strong organizational skills — comfortable managing moving parts across multiple locations and days * A self\-starter who can spot inefficiencies and build a better process, not just follow one * Reliable transportation and comfort with early mornings and driving a company vehicle to multiple sites * Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs (product crates, tables, tents, equipment) * Friendly, customer\-facing presence for market days * Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain one) * **How to Apply: Please reply to this posting with a resume and introduction telling us about your and why you're interested in joining the Waldscraft team!** Pay: From $22\.00 per hour Expected hours: 20\.0 – 30\.0 per week Work Location: In person
