Housekeeping Manager

In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met, and foster a positive environment that promotes excellence in guest service. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining the impeccable appearance and hygiene of our facilities. **Responsibilities** * Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations * Implement cleaning schedules and procedures for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces * Monitor quality standards, conduct inspections, and provide feedback to uphold cleanliness and safety protocols * Train new team members on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations * Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to optimize resources * Oversee laundry operations, ensuring timely processing of linens and guest clothing * Foster a positive team environment through leadership, motivation, and clear communication **Qualifications:** * High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred. * Previous experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. * Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. * Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures and safety standards. * Professional appearance and positive attitude * Reliability and punctuality * Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed * Appreciation for historic properties and their unique care needs **Experience** * Proven supervising or management experience within housekeeping or custodial services * Strong background in cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping operations * Experience with laundry management and commercial cleaning practices * Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service excellence * Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members Join us to lead a dedicated housekeeping team committed to delivering outstanding cleanliness and hospitality!
