Resident Engineer

**Role Details** **Job Title:** Resident Engineer **Location:** Dublin/Cork **Contract Duration:** 12 months **Rate:** €77,823 per annum / €299\.32 per day (negotiable) **Role Overview** We are seeking a Field / Resident Engineer to support both on\-site and administrative activities across commercial and residential projects within the region. **Key Responsibilities** * Specialising in the civil elements of the works. * Driving the delivery of projects on site, with a particular focus on health \& safety, programme delivery, cost management, and ensuring works are completed to the required quality standards. * Arranging site inspections and surveys with operations and contractor staff. * Ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with the contract documents and project requirements. **Ideal Candidate Profile** * Background in Civil Engineering * Experience in water or wastewater projects is advantageous (metering experience not essential) * Strong attention to detail and ability to balance site\-based and administrative work Comfortable working independently across multiple locations **What We Offer** * Flexible working arrangements * Opportunities for career progression and development **How to Apply** If you’re interested, please apply directly to this role or share your CV at **arush.gautam@hays.com**
