Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) – Backend / API Testing **Location:** Austin, TX **About the Role** We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong Java/Kotlin programming skills and extensive experience in API integration testing, backend automation, and test framework development. In this role, you will help ensure the delivery of high-quality software and services by developing and maintaining server-side automation tests, extending existing test frameworks, and integrating testing infrastructure with continuous integration and continuous deployment systems. You will work closely with development teams to test existing and new projects, including integration and acceptance testing, while identifying and resolving issues to maintain high software quality standards. **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience. * Strong object-oriented programming experience, preferably with Java and Kotlin. * Deep experience developing API integration tests. * Strong experience extending existing test frameworks for web services. * Experience working closely with development teams in an Agile software development environment. * Experience with Gradle and Git. * Strong understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts. * Experience with backend or server-side test automation. * **Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.** * **Ability and willingness to work onsite in Austin, TX.
