We are building a centralized analytics environment in **Microsoft Fabric** that will bring together data from eClinicalWorks, HubSpot, financial and operational systems, and other business applications. This role sits between traditional data engineering and analytics engineering. We are not looking for someone focused primarily on massive distributed systems, streaming infrastructure, or highly complex data platforms. We need someone who can take source data, make it reliable and understandable, model it around real business questions, and deliver trusted datasets and reporting that leadership can actually use. The ideal candidate combines strong SQL and data-modeling skills with practical Microsoft Fabric and Power BI experience and is comfortable working directly with business stakeholders. ResponsibilitiesMicrosoft Fabric & Data Platform * Help design, build, and maintain our Microsoft Fabric environment. * Work with Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, pipelines, and related services. * Build and maintain reliable data pipelines from business systems. * Integrate data from sources including eClinicalWorks, HubSpot, spreadsheets, APIs, and other operational platforms. * Develop repeatable ingestion and transformation processes. * Monitor data refreshes, pipeline performance, and failures. * Help establish deployment, documentation, and data-development standards. Analytics Engineering & Data Modeling * Transform raw and standardized data into business-ready analytical models. * Build dimensional and star-schema models. * Develop curated Gold-layer datasets for reporting and analysis. * Create reusable definitions for key business metrics. * Build and maintain semantic models for Power BI. * Work with DAX where needed to support reporting and analytical use cases. * Create data-quality checks and reconciliation processes. * Investigate conflicting data and help determine reliable sources of truth. Reporting & Business Analytics * Partner with Strategic Operations, Finance, Operations, and leadership to understand business questions. * Translate business requirements into datasets, models, and reporting solutions. * Build or support Power BI dashboards and reporting products. * Improve the reliability and consistency of existing reporting. * Reduce manual spreadsheet-based reporting where appropriate. * Help develop analytics around financial/AR performance, referral performance, patient journeys, operational efficiency, and other business priorities. Data Governance & Documentation * Document data sources, transformations, business definitions, and dependencies. * Help establish consistent data standards across the organization. * Identify data-quality issues and work with operational teams to understand their root causes. * Help create scalable structures that make future analytics work easier and more reliable. * Support appropriate access controls for business and healthcare data. What We’re Looking For * Approximately 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, BI engineering, or a similar role. * Strong SQL skills. * Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and star-schema design. * Experience building business-ready datasets from multiple source systems. * Experience with Microsoft Fabric or closely related Microsoft data technologies. * Experience with Power BI. * Understanding of semantic models and DAX. * Ability to investigate messy or conflicting data and determine how it should be reconciled. * Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate questions into technical solutions. * Strong problem-solving and documentation skills. * Ability to own projects from source data through final analytical product. Preferred Qualifications * Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience. * Experience with Fabric Lakehouse and/or Warehouse. * Experience with Power BI semantic models. * Experience integrating REST APIs or SaaS platforms. * Python experience. * Familiarity with Azure data services. * Experience with HubSpot data. * Healthcare analytics experience. * Experience with EHR data, particularly eClinicalWorks. * Experience with financial, revenue-cycle, referral, or operational healthcare data. * Familiarity with data governance and healthcare privacy considerations. * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience is also welcome. Experience with PySpark, Databricks, or large-scale distributed data technologies is useful but is **not the primary focus of this role**. What Success Looks Like Within the first several months, this person should: * Understand the organization’s major data sources and data-quality challenges. * Establish a stable Microsoft Fabric development foundation. * Validate and organize eClinicalWorks data being shared into Fabric. * Begin integrating additional high-value data sources. * Establish standards for business-ready data models. * Deliver the first trusted end-to-end analytical products. * Reduce dependence on manually reconciled spreadsheets. * Give leadership faster access to consistent and explainable business information. Initial analytical priorities are expected to include: * Financial and accounts-receivable visibility * Referral performance and conversion * Operational and patient-journey analytics Work Environment This is primarily an **in-person position in Irving, Texas**. Occasional remote work may be approved at manager discretion based on current projects, deadlines, and operational needs. Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
