Senior Electrical Design Engineer

You will be supporting advanced PLC systems, motor control centres, and distribution systems. **In This Role You Will** * Be accountable to the Principal Engineer for the preparation and production of electrical designs to meet project requirements, specifications, budgets, and timeframes. * Be confident in liaising directly with clients in developing and refining scopes of work as needed. * Provide mentoring and leadership to Graduate/Junior Engineers. * You will develop and manage key stakeholder relationships and engagement to provide timely updates and promptly resolve design issues. **Skills & Experience** * Electrical Engineering degree or similar with minimum 5 years of proven experience within automation, Defence, energy, utilities or manufacturing sectors. * Verifiable knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices. * Verifiable design management or leadership experience. * Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage with key stakeholders at all levels. * Previous experience with design tools such as PowerCAD or ETAP, Cable Sizing, and Load Calculations. * Previous experience with PLC I/O and architecture drawings is highly desirable.
