Catering Manager

Park Plaza Liquor & Deli is looking for an outgoing, organized, and motivated individual to lead and grow our catering and events department. (This is NOT a chef/cooking position.) We have an established catering program, a strong local reputation, and exciting opportunities for expansion. We're looking for someone who wants to take ownership of the department, build lasting relationships, and help make PPLD a go-to choice for catering and events throughout the Prescott area. This is more than coordinating events. We need someone who enjoys connecting with people, takes initiative, communicates confidently, and is excited about developing new business. The right person will be comfortable managing the details of today's events while actively building opportunities for tomorrow. **What You'll Do** * Serve as the primary contact for catering inquiries, private events, and client relationships. * Manage event proposals, contracts, bookings, invoices, and follow-up. * Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, venues, and community partners to generate new catering opportunities. * Actively promote and grow PPLD's catering and event services. * Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house management to ensure successful event execution. * Oversee logistics for on-site and off-site catering, private events, food truck bookings, and bartending services. * Maintain organized records, schedules, and communication between clients and departments. * Identify opportunities to improve processes, expand services, and increase catering revenue. * Participate in planning community events, festivals, and other promotional opportunities. **Who We're Looking For** Personality and communication are especially important for this role.
