**Job Description – Fire Protection Fabrication Manager** **Title** Fire Fabrication Manager **Summary** The Macomb Group is a leading distributor of fire protection products and fabricated solutions throughout the Carolinas. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire Protection Fabrication Manager to lead our fabrication operations at our Charlotte, North Carolina facility. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a fast\-paced and expanding operation, leading a skilled team while helping drive the continued growth and success of our Charlotte fire protection business. The ideal candidate is a self\-motivated, results\-oriented professional with strong leadership abilities, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a desire to make a lasting impact. **Responsibilities** * Direct daily fabrication operations, ensuring workflow efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to production schedules * Supervise fabricators, welders, machinists; provide coaching, performance feedback, and training * Implement and enforce quality standards; conduct inspections; resolve defects or non\-conformities * Ensure OSHA compliance, maintain safe work environments, and lead safety audits or corrective actions * Oversee maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs and ensure machinery is operating at peak performance * Lead fabrication projects from planning through completion, ensuring timelines and specifications are met. * Motivate, organize, and discipline staff * Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment * Use of Lift Truck and Crane to move materials * Other duties as assigned **Requirements** * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * Regularly lift up to 50lbs * Be able to walk, stand, or lift the entire shift * Knowledge of Fire Protection/PVF is a plus * Some years of related warehouse/fabrication experience **Work Setting** Charlotte, North Carolina Monday \- Friday, day shift **Benefits** * PTO, paid holidays, birthday off with pay and jump starts * GM and Ford vehicle discount * Medical, company pays 75% of premium along with a free medical wrap * Free telemedicine with medical enrollment * Dental * Vision * Life Insurance and AD\&D * Critical Illness and Accident insurance * Short and Long Term Disability * 401K program with a 25% match with no cap! **Our Culture** With over 25 locations in multiple states, each branch has created a culture within our company that stems from cooperation, teamwork and of course the notion that we are BUILT TO SAY ***YES***, not only to our customers but to you as well.
