Android AOSP Software Engineer **Location:** Portland, OR **Industry:** Automotive / Embedded Infotainment Job Description Seeking an experienced **Android AOSP Software Engineer** with strong expertise in Android platform development, AOSP, Linux, and embedded systems. Required Skills * Strong experience with **Android AOSP framework and native layers** . * Proficiency in **C/C\+\+, Java/Kotlin, Python, Linux, Git, and shell scripting** . * Strong knowledge of **Android architecture, Binder/AIDL, HALs, SELinux, init, memory management, graphics, media, power, and thermal systems** . * Experience integrating Android with **vendor BSPs, kernel drivers, Qualcomm SoCs, and hardware peripherals** . * Experience with **SurfaceFlinger, WindowManager, DisplayManager, HWC, Gralloc, Codec2/MediaCodec, and Audio HAL** . * Experience with **Android Automotive / infotainment systems** . * Knowledge of **hypervisors, QNX, VirtIO, and multi\-VM systems** . * Experience with **CTS/VTS, secure boot, OTA updates, and Android security** . * Strong debugging, performance optimization, and system integration skills. Nice to Have * **10\+ years** of embedded software experience. * Qualcomm Snapdragon experience. * QNX Hypervisor experience. * IFE / passenger\-facing systems experience. * Knowledge of **TCP/IP, Bluetooth, Wi\-Fi, and satellite connectivity** .
