Project Engineer – Electrical (Data Center Construction) Location: Churchill County, NV Employment type: Full-time About the role More Construction LLC (PSG Group) is delivering a data center project in Churchill County, Nevada. As Project Engineer (Electrical), you will oversee the electrical works on the owner's side — monitoring contractors' planning, progress, cost, and quality against the contract program and Employer Requirements, and coordinating across all disciplines from design through completion and the guarantee period. What you'll do - Observe subcontractors' electrical works on site and verify cost, progress, and quality against the current and contract programs - Prepare and review construction statements, construction plans, inspections, and remedial actions for electrical works - Coordinate the approval process for electrical equipment and materials with the client, general contractor, subcontractors, Engineer of Record (EOR), and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) - Support commercial staff on change control and valuation of variations - Support bidding: prepare technical documents and participate in employer interviews - Own the electrical scope through design, tendering, government approvals, kickoff, construction, completion, and guarantee period - Review design proposals and briefs, and join design review meetings - Run tendering: pre-qualification, documents, site surveys, bid opening, Q&A, and contractor recommendation reports - Manage site activities to hit quality, schedule, budget, and code-compliance targets; manage scope changes and variation valuations - Prepare ITP and L1–L3 testing and inspection plans for electrical systems and equipment; support ELV delivery of ITP - Draft electrical project plans and reports; review and release project documents after PM and Engineering & Construction Leader confirmation What we're looking for - Degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or equivalent; Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent preferred - 5+ years of relevant work in high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, ELV, BMS/security controls, EMPS, construction, and project management - Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and U.S. construction and inspection codes; familiarity with government approval processes - Understanding of U.S. construction contract conditions and terms; able to build and manage project programme schedules - Proficient with AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage 3D, or BIM 360; Procore experience - Strong written and spoken English; solid communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills - Mandarin language skills are a plus How to apply To apply, please email your resume to sabrina\_xiong@psggroup.net.
