After-School Art Teacher

**JOB DESCRIPTION** STAR Education, one of the leading nonprofits in after\-school education, is seeking Art teachers for the 2026\-2027 school year in elementary\-age schools in and around Los Angeles. All candidates must be knowledgeable in Art and have experience teaching/working with children at the elementary level. More information can be found at www.starinc.org!\* GENERAL REQUIREMENTS * Will be available for 2\.5 hours within the hours of 1:45 to 6:00\.\- Mon through Fri * $35 per hour * Location: Elementary Schools in and around Los Angeles * Will commit to the 2026\-2027 School Year * Experience teaching K\-5th grade students * Will have Reliable Transportation * Will be punctual, reliable, enthusiastic, responsible, and flexible * Dedicated to children with diverse backgrounds and academic levels **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** * Independently (or with co\-teacher) lead groups of up to 20 students from TK\-5th grade * Attend Teacher Training where you will be trained in Classroom Management * Instructors are expected to arrive on time and provide an educational, safe, and enjoyable class experience for students * Creative thinking, with the ability to do so under time constraints * Paid training and materials provided. \* Job Type: Part\-time Pay: $35\.00 per hour Benefits: * Professional development assistance Work Location: In person
