Design Consultant — 12-Month Maternity Leave Cover

**12\-Month Fixed\-Term Contract \| On\-site role** GOT IT MADE Kitchens \& Cabinetry is looking for an experienced **Kitchen Design Consultant** to join our Te Awamutu team for a 12\-month maternity leave cover role. This is a client\-facing design and sales role for someone who understands kitchens, cabinetry, relationships and the importance of guiding clients confidently from first conversation through to confirmed project. Our showroom, offices and manufacturing factory are all located on one site, giving you direct connection to the full process from design through to production. **About the role** You’ll be responsible for: * Meeting with clients in our showroom and on\-site when required * Designing kitchens, wardrobes, laundries and custom cabinetry solutions * Understanding client needs and translating them into practical, beautiful designs * Presenting concepts, layouts and proposals * Following up enquiries and helping convert opportunities into confirmed projects * Working closely with our factory and installation teams * Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, builders and industry partners **About you** We’re looking for someone with: * Proven kitchen /interior design experience * Strong communication and client relationship skills * Confidence presenting ideas and guiding client decisions * Proven sales ability and follow\-up habits * A practical understanding of cabinetry, materials, layouts and functionality * A professional, organised and solutions\-focused approach Formal qualifications are appreciated, but not essential.
