Finance Business Partner

Reporting to: Finance Director Location: Singapore **About the Role** We are seeking a highly motivated and business-oriented **Finance Business Partner (FBP)** to join our dynamic team. Based in Singapore, this role will support key stakeholders across Sales, Product, and Finance functions to drive business outcomes through financial insights, analysis, and execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about partnering with the business to make data-driven decisions. The role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a strategic mindset to support both day-to-day operations and long-term planning. As part of a regional team, the FBP will also regularly collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders based in China. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Planning and Analysis * Lead the budget and monthly forecasting processes for assigned Sales and Product teams * Prepare annual and monthly management reporting packages for submission to Global FP&A * Monitor business KPIs and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve performance * Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions (e.g., ROI analysis, DCF, pricing strategy, 5-year planning, cash flow) 2. Project and Commercial Finance * Review financials and key contract terms for new projects, including P&L impact, revenue recognition, payment terms, taxation, and foreign exchange considerations * Partner with the business team throughout the project lifecycle to optimize revenue, gross margin, and cash collection * Handle revenue recognition and booking for relevant projects * Act as a strategic liaison between Finance, Sales, Product, and other stakeholders 3. Business Presentation * Prepare regular and ad hoc business review decks for internal and external stakeholders 4. Finance and IT Projects * Collaborate with the IT team on digital transformation initiatives (e.g., ERP systems, Power BI dashboards, AI-driven reporting tools) * Continuously improve internal finance processes and policies, including reporting templates and internal controls **Qualifications & Requirements** * Minimum 8 years of finance experience in software, internet, technology, consulting, or Big 4; with at least 3 years in an FP&A or Finance Business Partner role * Proven experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and startup-like environment—adaptability and agility are a must * Strong business acumen and a passion for working closely with commercial teams * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA / ACCA / CIMA certification is a plus * Fluent in spoken and written English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus (to facilitate communication with teams in China) * Advanced financial modelling and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Power BI, ERP systems, or AI-based financial tools is advantageous * Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills * Logical thinker with a strategic, solutions-oriented mindset Join us if you're ready to influence business strategy and execution at a company driving innovation in software, technology, and sustainability — and thrive in a collaborative environment that spans across geographies.
