Job description from the source
**Senior Full Stack Developer** **Sydney** **Contract 12 months** **$600\-800 a day inclusive of super** **Full time (potential for contract)** We're recruiting on behalf of a well\-established financial services organisation in Sydney, building out a modern, cloud\-native platform. This role is genuinely backend\-heavy and centred on integration work, connecting systems, building and consuming APIs, and moving data reliably between platforms. The backend is built primarily in C\#/.NET, running on AWS, with a solid amount of legacy React/TypeScript in production that continues to need support. **Key responsibilities:** * Design, build and maintain backend services and APIs primarily in C\#/.NET * Build and maintain integrations with internal systems and third\-party providers * Work across AWS infrastructure * Write and optimise SQL against relational databases * Support existing React/TypeScript front\-end code where required * Collaborate with product owners, designers and engineers within an agile squad * Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to CI/CD practices **What we're looking for:** * Strong, hands\-on commercial experience with C\# and .NET / .NET Core * Genuine experience building on AWS * Confident, hands\-on SQL experience, schema design, query writing and performance tuning * Working knowledge of React and/or TypeScript * Comfortable operating within an established framework rather than driving architecture, this is a hands\-on delivery role, not an architecture\-first position * Financial services or another regulated industry background is a plus, not a requirement Please get in touch with an up to date CV if interested simeonevans@morganmckinley.com
