Job description from the source
**Pivot Communication | Boulder, CO (hybrid or remote within Colorado)** **Reports to:** Owner and CEO **Type:** Part-time About Pivot Pivot Communication is a Boulder marketing agency focused on senior living communities, with clients in Colorado and across the country. We build and run the websites, digital ads, email and content that help communities fill apartments and support families. Our team is small, so your work goes live and makes a visible difference every week. The role You'll own the websites for about 15 client communities and Pivot itself: new site builds, weekly updates, forms, integrations, tracking and maintenance. You'll work from a shared Trello queue with our account managers and designer, and coordinate with our outside development partner on larger technical projects. What you'll do * **Build new websites:** launch community sites on our WordPress multisite, from staging setup through navigation, page builds, forms, mobile testing, SEO settings and go-live. Recent projects include three Crossroads community sites built in under a month. * **Keep client sites current:** publish blogs, press releases, events, FAQ pages, pricing updates, team bios, photos, videos and promotions, usually within a few days of the request. * **Build and manage forms:** event RSVP pages, inquiry and careers forms, and thank-you pages in Gravity Forms, with email notifications, CRM connections (Yardi, Advantage Anywhere, You've Got Leads) and webhooks. * **Maintain and secure sites:** run monthly checkups, updates, backups and security monitoring on Kinsta and WordFence, handle PHP and plugin updates, and keep accessibility tools current. * **Set up tracking and reporting:** configure GA4, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager, support quarterly reports in AgencyAnalytics, and export form data for clients. * **Support AI search and local SEO:** add FAQ and schema markup, optimize page titles, and keep business information consistent so communities show up in Google and AI search. * **Manage technical setup:** handle DNS changes (Cloudflare, Mailchimp authentication), domain launches, plugin and license tracking, and website-related ad landing pages. * **Work as a team:** estimate and log hours in Clockify, keep Trello cards current, join a short daily stand-up, and flag scope or timeline risks early. What you'll bring * 3+ years building and maintaining WordPress sites professionally, ideally at an agency * Strong skills with page builders (Elementor, Beaver Builder) and Gravity Forms * Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and enough PHP to troubleshoot themes and plugins * Experience with hosting, DNS, SSL, backups and site security * Hands-on use of GA4, Search Console and Tag Manager * Comfort with form integrations, APIs or webhooks (Zapier is a plus) * An eye for clean, accessible design that works on any screen * Organized and dependable with deadlines, able to handle many small requests at once * Clear written communication with teammates and, at times, clients Nice to have * Senior living, healthcare or multi-location experience * WordPress multisite experience * Familiarity with Yardi, CRM integrations or call tracking * Experience with AI search optimization or schema markup * Basic graphic or video editing skills How to apply Send your resume, links to 3 to 5 WordPress sites you built or maintained (and your role on each), and a short note on a technical problem you solved to careers@pivotcomm.com Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week Work Location: Hybrid remote in Boulder, CO 80308
