Staff Pharmacist – Part-Time (25 hrs/wk) – Integrative & Herbal Focus

This role offers an excellent opportunity for pharmacists passionate about holistic approaches, patient\-centered care, and pharmacy operations. Our pharmacists counsel patients and recommend herbal and natural treatments when appropriate and use our drug expertise to screen for interactions and guide safe, integrative care. This position involves providing comprehensive medication management, patient assessment, and ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting our mission to promote wellness through integrative practices. Depending on experience, there are opportunities for special projects to increase weekly hours. **Responsibilities** * Dispense prescription medications accurately * Become familiar with in\-store wellness products and recommend when appropriate * Incorporate herbal and integrative therapies in accordance with patient needs and preferences. * Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop personalized medication plans that include conventional and herbal treatments. * Provide expert consultation on drug interactions, contraindications, and safe medication administration, including immunizations. * Educate patients on medication use, lifestyle modifications, and integrative health options to promote optimal health outcomes. * Maintain clinical confidentiality policies in accordance with HIPAA regulations while delivering exceptional patient service. * Support pharmacy operations by adhering to pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards and practicing within scope of licensure. **Schedule** * About 25 hours a week * 10\-hour shifts each week * Paid lunch * Rotating 5\-hour Saturday shifts * More hours available through projects **To apply:** Submit your resume and a few sentences on why integrative health interests you. **Why work here** * $63–$68/hour * Retirement plan with employer match * No skeleton crew: at least 4 team members on every shift * A supportive team that owns its work and helps each other * Coworkers who actually like each other and get together outside work **Requirements** * PharmD or BS Pharm * Active California pharmacist license in good standing * Strong interest in functional, holistic, and herbal medicine * Comfortable recommending herbal treatments using sound clinical judgment * Warm, collaborative leadership style Join our team to advancing integrative, holistic care in pharmacy!
