### **Position Summary** The Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing instruction that supports student learning and growth. This role creates a positive, inclusive classroom environment, collaborates with colleagues and families, and upholds school policies and academic standards. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons * Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs * Assess student progress using formative and summative methods * Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment * Provide timely feedback to students and families * Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administrators * Participate in professional development and school meetings * Maintain accurate records (attendance, grades, documentation) * Support students’ social-emotional and behavioral development ### **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required) * Valid teaching license or certification (required) * Classroom teaching experience preferred * Strong communication and organizational skills * Ability to build positive relationships with students and families * Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-centered learning ### **Preferred Skills & Attributes** * Experience with curriculum planning and assessment * Classroom management expertise * Comfort using educational technology * Collaborative and reflective teaching approach
