Seasonal Off-Site Event Supervisor

**WE’RE GROWING OUR EVENT TEAM** The Beauté Loft is expanding its seasonal event team to support private parties, corporate experiences, and holiday programming. We create hands-on beauty and fragrance experiences at our Grosse Pointe studio, at off-site venues, and online. We’re hiring an experienced Seasonal Event Supervisor to lead assigned events, guide guests, and oversee supporting staff. This is a leadership position for someone who is self-motivated, works well independently, and takes ownership of assigned events from setup through final reporting. **Responsibilities** * Take ownership of assigned events from preparation and setup through cleanup and final reporting. * Welcome guests, lead group activities, and keep events organized and on schedule. * Assign tasks to supporting staff and confirm they are completed. * Follow event plans, guest-service standards, and safety procedures. * Respond to routine guest questions and concerns, and contact management when additional support is needed. * Track event supplies and ensure materials are packed, handled, and returned properly. * Complete remote supervisor check-ins and submit accurate online event logs. **Qualifications** * Previous event, hospitality, group-hosting, or related experience is required, including experience leading staff or coordinating events. * Self-motivated and comfortable working independently without frequent reminders or direct supervision. * Dependable and responsible: arrives prepared, follows through on commitments, and completes assigned work. * Uses good judgment to handle routine decisions and recognize when to contact management. * Confident leading groups, directing supporting staff, and providing professional guest service. * Able to follow written instructions, manage time, and communicate updates promptly. * Must have reliable personal transportation to the studio and off-site venues, including the ability to transport assigned event supplies. * Basic familiarity with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Forms. * Access to a smartphone, computer or tablet, and reliable internet for remote training and reporting. * Available for scheduled events, including evenings and weekends. * Able to perform event setup, supply handling, and cleanup duties, with reasonable accommodation as needed. **Training and Work Locations** Training is mostly remote, with some required in-person practice. You must attend scheduled remote training, review event instructions before each assignment, and complete supervisor check-ins and reporting. Events take place at our Grosse Pointe studio and at off-site venues throughout Metro Detroit. This is not a fully remote position. **Seasonal Opportunity** This temporary seasonal supervisor position supports holiday celebrations, galas, private parties, and corporate events. Hours vary based on bookings.
