Paralegal - Family Law

Buckley Law in Lake Oswego, Oregon is looking for the right person to join us as a Paralegal for an established hard-working Family Law team. Requested qualifications: * Preferably one year of experience as a Paralegal, ideally with experience in Family Law (Domestic Relations), though consideration may be given without this experience; * Experience preparing for in-person or remote litigation, including trials, hearings, and/or mediations; * Thorough and organized work processes; excellent attention to detail and follow-through is required for success; * Willingness to assist in any task; Uses a team-first mentality to help complete assignments (i.e. filing, electronic filing, preparing discovery, reviewing correspondence, calendaring); * A propensity for electronic communication and electronic document management; * An ability to prioritize and juggle multiple, concurrent matters and activities while maintaining a calm presence; * An ability to work well and communicate with different types of people, both internally and externally (clients, staff, and attorneys); * Willingness to take on tough assignments and be resourceful; * Ability to and experience in keeping attorney(s) organized, including docketing, drafting, etc.; * Technology experience – Microsoft Suite, Law firm software a plus (Coyote, NetDocs, DocuSign); * Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certification is preferred.
