Residential Construction Manager

**Job Title:** Residential Construction Manager **Location:** San Antonio – New Braunfels Corridor, TX (on-site at multiple job sites) **Job Type:** Full-time **Pay:** $70,000-100,000+ per year + bonus + benefits, commensurate with experience **About Wild Oak Homes** Wild Oak Homes is a growing residential homebuilder serving the San Antonio–Austin corridor. We build across our own communities and also take on select Build-On-Your-Lot and custom spec homes, with a range of styles and price points. We're building the company the right way: quality homes, clear processes, and a team that takes ownership. We're looking for an experienced Construction Manager who wants more than a job. We want someone who will grow with us, run jobs with discipline, and help shape the systems we'll scale on. **What You'll Do** * Manage multiple residential builds from pre-construction through closing, including community homes, Build-On-Your-Lot homes, and custom spec homes * Schedule and coordinate trade partners and suppliers so jobs stay on time and on budget * Run daily job site oversight: quality control, safety, cleanliness, and punch lists * Walk homes at each key phase (foundation, frame, pre-drywall, final) and hold trades to our standards * Manage inspections with municipalities, counties, and third-party inspectors * Review and approve trade work and invoices, and flag budget variances early * Keep schedules, daily logs, photos, and job updates current in our construction management software (JobTread) * Communicate clearly with the sales team and, on BOYL and custom jobs, directly with homeowners * Build and recruit a reliable trade base in the San Antonio – New Braunfels area * Help create and improve our construction processes, checklists, and standards as we grow **What We're Looking For** * 5+ years of residential construction experience in a superintendent, construction manager, or builder role * An established network of trades in the San Antonio – New Braunfels corridor (strongly preferred) * Working knowledge of residential building codes, inspections, and the full construction sequence * Experience running several homes at once without sacrificing quality * Comfort with construction software, scheduling tools, and digital job documentation * Strong communication skills with trades, homeowners, and the office * Self-motivated and organized. You follow the process and you speak up when it can be better * Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and ability to travel between job sites * Experience with rural lots (septic, wells, site work) and Hill Country builds is a plus **Why Wild Oak Homes** * Get in early at a growing builder, with real room to advance as we expand * Have a voice in how we build.
