Senior Platform Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will focus on building and operating the foundational platform services that support software delivery and scalable application environments. You will partner closely with engineering teams to improve automation, streamline the SDLC, and strengthen reliability across cloud and container\-based systems. The work will center on infrastructure as code, CI/CD enablement, and the day\-to\-day health of production platform services in a remote\-first environment. Location: Remote \- US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $129,000 – $193,500 annually **Responsibilities** * Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software delivery * Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform * Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications in Kubernetes * Support production Kubernetes clusters in a cloud environment, preferably AWS * Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalable applications * Administer and optimize source code repositories in GitHub * Collaborate with teams to enhance developer toolsets and streamline SDLC processes **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience * 5\+ years of experience in platform engineering or a similar role * Proficiency in Golang or Python for scripting and automation * Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code * Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and experience with ArgoCD * Hands\-on experience with GitHub for version control * Proven experience with AWS cloud services **Benefits** * Eligible for incentive compensation and equity * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Life insurance and 401K plan * Remote work flexibility Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
