General Contractor Crew Lead

**Job Overview** Lead field crews through safe, organized commercial construction work. You’ll coordinate daily tasks, review drawings and schedules, monitor quality and budgets, and keep project teams informed. This hands-on role suits someone with construction site experience, supervising experience, and confidence managing teams in a construction management role. You will also be responsible in training and showing your team the standards that are set and keep Morales high to ensure a successful day. We are a general contracting company and we work on roofs to foundation and everything in between for commercial and residential. Your impact: By coordinating safe, quality work and communicating schedule needs early, you help crews deliver reliable progress for project teams and clients. **Responsibilities** * Assign work, manage crews, and coordinate subcontractors, materials, equipment, and construction schedules. * Review blueprints, schematics, construction drawings, and contracts; clarify scope and flag conflicts before work proceeds. * Track project schedules, estimates, budgets, and quality control; coordinate updates with project management. * Apply construction safety management practices and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and federal construction safety regulations. * Document field progress using construction management software and communicate clearly with crews, managers, and partners. **Skills** * Required: Construction experience, commercial construction experience, crew management, supervising experience, construction schedule coordination, project scheduling, construction drawing review, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and managerial communication. * Required: Knowledge of construction regulations, construction safety management, quality control, budgeting, construction estimating, and construction project management. * Preferred: Familiarity with ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, Pipeline, Primavera, and Primavera P6. * Preferred: Experience with construction management software and an ohmmeter (electrical resistance measuring instrument). * general contractor experience (roofing, electrical, plumbing, etc.) Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: * Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
