Senior User Experience Designer

**Senior UX Designer** **NYC, NY \-Hybrid** **Overview** We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior UX Designer** who can seamlessly blend **user\-centered design, mixed\-methods research, behavioral analytics, and AI\-driven research practices** . This individual will be responsible for understanding user needs, translating insights into impactful product experiences, and driving data\-informed design decisions. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on expertise conducting qualitative and quantitative research while also creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and experience designs that improve business outcomes and customer satisfaction. **Product Design** * Create end\-to\-end user experiences for web and mobile applications. * Design: * User Flows * Information Architecture * Wireframes * Low\-Fidelity and High\-Fidelity Mockups * Interactive Prototypes * Translate research insights into intuitive product solutions. * Improve usability, accessibility, and overall customer experience. **Design Systems \& Collaboration** * Maintain design consistency using established design systems. * Collaborate closely with: * Product Managers * Engineers * Researchers * Business Stakeholders * Participate in design critiques and product strategy discussions. * Advocate for user\-centered design practices across the organization. **Usability \& Validation** * Conduct usability testing throughout the product lifecycle. * Validate designs before development and iterate based on feedback. * Measure design effectiveness through research and analytics. **AI\-Augmented Research \& Design** * Integrate AI tools into daily design and research workflows. * Utilize AI for: * Research planning * Screener generation * Interview summaries * Data synthesis * Report generation * Design ideation * Content generation * Lead internal AI\-adoption initiatives focused on improving research and design efficiency. * Develop AI\-assisted templates, workflows, and playbooks. * Serve as an AI champion by coaching team members and promoting best practices **Required Qualifications** **Experience** * Proven years of UX Design and UX Research experience. * Proven experience working across the entire product development lifecycle. * Experience in enterprise, SaaS, consumer, or digital product environments. **Research Expertise** * Strong background in mixed\-methods research. * Hands\-on experience conducting qualitative and quantitative studies. * Expertise in usability testing and customer research. * Ability to interpret statistical data and behavioral analytics. **Design Expertise** * Strong visual, interaction, and user experience design skills. * Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and production\-ready designs. * Deep understanding of human\-centered design principles. **Analytics** * Experience using: * Power BI * Amplitude * Mixpanel * Similar analytics platforms * Ability to leverage analytics for product decision\-making. **AI Experience** * Demonstrated use of AI tools in UX research and design workflows. * Experience driving AI\-related initiatives or process improvements.
