Weekend Social Media Content Producer – Part\-Time **Charlie’s Collectible Show (CCS)** **Raleigh, NC** **Pay:** $18–$22/hour, based on experience **Hours:** Approximately 20–25 hours per week **Schedule:** Friday, Saturday \& Sunday — weekend availability required About Charlie’s Collectible Show Charlie’s Collectible Show (CCS) is a fast\-growing hobby and collectibles marketplace hosting weekly events centered around trading cards, anime, gaming, toys, collectibles, tournaments, and pop culture. Every weekend, our locations are filled with vendors, collectors, players, families, products, tournaments, and activities. Our content team captures that experience and turns it into social content that shows audiences what is happening at CCS. Our current content output includes: * Stories posted throughout each event day, averaging approximately 1,000 views * Two finished pieces of short\-form content per event day * Reels averaging approximately 10,000 views The Role We are looking for a **hands\-on Social Media Content Producer who can own content production for an entire event weekend.** This is not primarily a social media strategy position or an influencer/on\-camera personality role. You will receive a content plan and shot list before each weekend. Your responsibility is to understand the goal and primary message behind each piece of content and execute that plan from Friday through Sunday. That means filming, interviewing, editing, posting, organizing footage, capturing promotional assets, and making sure every assigned deliverable gets completed. Most importantly, **you need to be someone who finishes without being chased.** If something changes during an event — a vendor cancels, the floor is quiet, an interview falls through, equipment fails, or the original shot isn't working — we expect you to adapt, communicate, and find another way to get the job done. What You'll OwnWeekend Content Production You will be responsible for: * Reviewing the weekend shot list, understanding the business goal and intended audience for each piece, and determining an effective hook, music, and storyline * Executing every assigned item on the weekend shot list, which you will receive mid\-week from the Content Production Coordinator * Capturing high\-quality vertical video primarily using an iPhone provided on\-site * Using strong basic camera techniques, including smooth panning, controlled movement, proper framing, and steady shot composition to produce clean 4K footage * Filming vendors, products, attendees, tournaments, activities, and marketplace moments as defined by the shot list * Understanding the goal behind each piece of content and actively asking questions to uncover what makes a vendor, product, or event unique * Planning shots that accurately highlight and promote those strengths * Rapidly editing trend\-driven short\-form content using strong hooks, music, sound effects, pacing, and transitions * Capturing, editing, and posting assigned same\-day content while on\-site * Conducting quick interviews with vendors, attendees, players, and guests * Being comfortable on camera when needed and confidently guiding interview questions * Capturing and posting Stories throughout the event day * Staying current on social media trends and identifying relevant ways to adapt those trends to CCS * Proactively proposing engaging content ideas * Monitoring and responding to comments and DMs during the event weekend * Writing captions and responses to audience questions when needed Before the Weekend You will receive your shot list before the event. We expect you to: * Review the entire content plan before arriving * Prepare potential hooks, music, storylines, and creative ideas for each assigned piece * Understand the production timeline and organize your workflow around required delivery times * Identify questions or potential problems ahead of time * Adapt quickly when unexpected issues arise during the event After the Weekend You will: * Complete the Monday Content Production survey * Review the weekend's content and identify what worked and what could be improved * Provide constructive feedback and suggestions to fellow Content Producers across CCS locations * Contribute ideas that can improve future content production End\-of\-Day Handoff Before your work is considered complete, you are responsible for making sure: * All assigned content has been completed * Raw footage has been transferred into the designated folders in Google Drive * Finished edits have been uploaded * Published content is monitored for audience comments and questions * Files are correctly named and organized * Equipment is charged and ready for the next event day What We're Looking For You must be able to **film AND edit short\-form video on\-site with same\-day turnaround.** Strong candidates will have: * Strong short\-form editing skills using CapCut * Strong iPhone/mobile videography skills * Experience producing Instagram Reels, TikToks, or YouTube Shorts * Understanding of hooks, pacing, framing, lighting, audio, and storytelling * Ability to work quickly in a live\-event environment * Confidence approaching strangers for interviews or content * Strong organization and file\-management habits * Ability to follow a creative brief without requiring constant supervision * Good judgment when something doesn't go according to plan * Reliable Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability Portfolio Required Please provide examples of **short\-form videos that you personally filmed AND edited.** We especially want to see examples where you handled both filming and editing with a fast or same\-day turnaround. **Applications without relevant video examples may not be considered.** Nice to Have * Experience producing content at conventions, festivals, sporting events, retail environments, or other live events * Interest in trading cards, anime, gaming, collectibles, or pop culture * Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar editing software * Photography experience * Familiarity with Google Drive and organized digital asset management How Success Is Measured We measure: * Completion of assigned deliverables * Quality of footage and edits * Same\-day turnaround * Organization and completeness of raw footage * Reliability and attendance * Ability to adapt when plans change * Communication when a deliverable is at risk * Social content performance * Contribution of useful ideas and improvements * Ability to consistently complete the weekend without being chased Why Join CCS This isn't a desk\-based content job. You'll work inside an active collectibles marketplace with new vendors, products, tournaments, guests, collectors, and stories happening around you every weekend. You'll have real ownership of a location's weekend content and the opportunity to grow into higher\-level **Content Producer, Senior Content Producer, and Lead Content Producer** roles as CCS expands. Pay: $18\.00 \- $22\.00 per hour Expected hours: 18\.0 – 25\.0 per week Application Question(s): * Provide your portfolio or links to short form videos that you have produced Work Location: In person
