Staff Accountant / Senior Accountant – CPA Firm **Napier \& Follett, LLP** is seeking a full\-time **Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant** to join our CPA firm in **El Paso, Texas**. We are looking for an accounting professional with experience in tax preparation and bookkeeping who is interested in growing with our firm. We are open to candidates at different experience levels and will tailor responsibilities and compensation accordingly. Compensation **$50,000–$95,000 per year**, depending on experience, credentials, technical ability, and level of responsibility. Generally, compensation within the range will reflect the candidate's experience level: * **Staff Accountant:** approximately $50,000–$70,000 * **Experienced Staff / Senior Accountant:** approximately $65,000–$85,000 * **Experienced Senior Accountant / CPA:** up to approximately $95,000 Responsibilities Depending on experience, responsibilities may include: * Prepare individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and other business income tax returns * Prepare and review bookkeeping and accounting records * Perform account reconciliations and year\-end accounting adjustments * Communicate directly with clients regarding tax and accounting matters * Research tax and accounting issues as needed * Assist with tax planning and client advisory matters * Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines * Review work prepared by other accounting staff * Train and supervise staff members, depending on experience * Work closely with partners and other members of the firm to provide high\-quality client service Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting required * Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred * Approximately 1–3\+ years of public accounting or relevant tax experience preferred * Experience preparing individual and business income tax returns * Strong bookkeeping and general accounting skills * CPA license preferred, or eligibility and intent to sit for the CPA exam * Experience with **UltraTax CS** preferred * Experience supervising, training, or reviewing the work of accounting staff is a plus * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines * Spanish\-language proficiency is a plus Benefits Napier \& Follett, LLP offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Employer\-matching retirement plan * Paid time off * Continuing Professional Education (CPE) reimbursement * Support for professional development and CPA licensure * Opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement within the firm We are seeking someone who values professionalism, accuracy, client service, and teamwork and who is interested in building a long\-term career with our firm. **Job Type:** Full\-time **Pay:** $50,000–$95,000 per year **Location:** El Paso, TX Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $50,000\.00 \- $95,000\.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Professional development assistance Physical Setting: * Office Application Question(s): * Which types of tax returns have you prepared professionally?
