Android Developer **Location:** Alpharetta, GA (In\-Person) Job Description We are seeking an experienced **Android Developer** to design, develop, and maintain high\-quality Android mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in native Android development, modern mobile architectures, and RESTful integrations while collaborating with cross\-functional teams to deliver scalable and user\-friendly solutions. Key Responsibilities * Develop, enhance, and maintain Android mobile applications using **Kotlin and Java** . * Design and implement clean, scalable, and reusable code following Android best practices. * Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and backend services. * Collaborate with Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, QA, and development teams. * Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application performance issues. * Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. * Implement unit testing and support CI/CD deployment pipelines. * Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability. * Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store. Required Skills * 5\+ years of Android development experience. * Strong experience with **Kotlin** and **Java** . * Expertise in **Android SDK** , Android Studio, and Jetpack Components. * Experience with **MVVM/MVC/MVP** architecture patterns. * Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and third\-party libraries. * Experience with SQLite, Room Database, or local data storage. * Familiarity with Git/GitHub and Agile methodologies. * Strong debugging and performance optimization skills. Preferred Skills * Experience with **Jetpack Compose** . * Knowledge of Firebase, push notifications, and analytics. * Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions. * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. * Understanding of mobile security best practices.
