Lead Toddler Teacher

**Job Summary** As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you’ll create a safe, engaging classroom where toddlers can explore, build early skills, and feel supported. You’ll guide daily learning through age-appropriate curriculum, attentive toddler care, and positive behavior management. Your impact: Thoughtful teaching and family communication help children build confidence and give parents clear insight into their child’s development. **Responsibilities** * Develop curriculum and lesson plans that support childhood development, early literacy, and foundational math. * Lead teaching and child development instruction through play, movement, and daily routines. * Manage the classroom, supervise children, and respond to individual needs, including coordinating special education or early intervention support when appropriate. * Communicate with parents about children’s progress, routines, and concerns. * Follow child welfare practices, mandated reporting laws, and first aid and CPR procedures. **Requirements** * Experience working with children, toddler care, childcare, and classroom experience; teaching experience with young children is essential. * Knowledge of early childhood education, preschool teaching, and behavior and classroom management. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and colleagues. * Familiarity with special education, early intervention, literacy education, and mandated reporting laws is valued. * First aid and CPR credentials are preferred. Preschool experience, private school experience, standardized testing, and experience teaching physical education are also helpful.
